I don’t know if it’s just me, but with time we’re getting better and greater revelations . With the help of Social Media the word is getting spread fast , with sharing posts and a double tap for a like to signal you appreciate the Word.

The big question though is do we take action towards The Word ? After we double tap and share do we put that Word in our hearts and live by it.

“Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.”
(‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭11:18‬ ‭NIV)‬‬

Re-Imagine God’s Child

Yes we read the bible , yes we engage in a Bible Study but are we the children that God wants us to be?
We have to remember that reading the bible or going to Church isn’t to try and look holy or make ourselves believe we are of Christ , we really have to be of Christ.

When i got caught in certain situations and wasn’t sure of what to do , i’d try to think of what other people would do (my peers that i looked up to ) . Then one day i came to realization that nomatter how wise some of my peers were , my main goal was not to become like them but be God’s Child , to be who God created me to be.
So now when i get in certain situations i ask myself WHAT WOULD JESUS DO ?
I texted someone a pretty rude message that was fueled by my anger then quickly apologized after i asked myself if that’s what my Father would do.

“Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.”
‭‭(1 John‬ ‭2:6‬ ‭NIV)‬‬

We take in different information from different sources , be it sermons that we can now stream online or books that we read at our spare time. There’s a time when some information contradicts and you’re caught in the middle , a bit confused cause you rely on this “great”information and you may be anxious because of it.
Let’s be attentive to what we read , hear and let it align to God’s Word. Let’s stop idolizing these platforms and turn to God for him to feed us with his Word.

“As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse!”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭1:9‬ ‭NIV

What helps to live in God’s Word

  1. Engaging in a Bible Study Program
Find a Bible Study Program that’ll help you engage in God’s Word on a daily basis. This has personally helped me by reminding me who i live for and what purpose is.
  2. Being Around Those That Are Encouraging
It’s your environment that influences your actions and what you do. That’s why they say “Show me your friends and i’ll tell you about yourself”. Be around those that encourage you to walk in God’s Way.
  3. Fasting
Fasting helps you to reconnect with God and all you would want to do is please him. I turn to fasting like my hideaway place and boy does it work.

By Living God’s Word we get to represent the Kingdom of God just by our actions.
You are the Bible that someone never got to read.
This is why when you’ve presented yourself as God’s Child you should act accordingly . Many at times people turn away from the Church or from God because of our actions. Their question will be , he’s still doing “AB and C” but still calls theirselves Christian so why the fuss?
Let Us Not MisRepresent but Represent God In An Admirable Way.

“We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.”
‭‭(2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:20‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

Christianity is not just a bible verse tattoed on your arm, or that one line on your instagram bio-It goes deeper than that, it is actively living according to Christ!
